A beach located in the southeast of the province of Malaga and on the shores of the Mediterranean. Caleta de Velez is 1,000 metres long and its sand is a dark colour.
Caleta de Velez Malaga has several different pieces: Rio Seco, Las Palmeras and Benito.
The Caleta is adapted for people with reduced mobility and there are many services on offer.
Caleta de Vélez beach has been awarded the Blue Flag distinction.
There are several festivals held at this point in the town. In July the Fiestas Marineras are held in honour of the Virgen del Carmen.
If you like sport you can enjoy one of the marinas with the most advanced facilities. Nowadays it is the only one in the east coast of Málaga and its occupation is high during the whole year.
Once you arrive at Caleta de Vélez you can park easily as it has parking facilities.
If you like to enjoy the sun during the summer season this beach is perfect to do so without crowds.
