El Chorrillo Beach or Los Chorrillos is the name given to three coves in Nerja. El Chorrillo beach is located next to Calahonda. It is only 60 metres long and its width depends on the tide level.
You will be able to enjoy these Nerja beaches a lot as long as they are not too crowded. An intense blue bathes the coast, and if you like water sports you can go snorkelling. Many diving lovers come to this beach in Nerja to discover its charms.
The best way to get to El Chorrillo beach is by crossing Calahonda beach, which you can reach via a staircase from the famous Balcon de Europa.
As you can imagine, El Chorrillo beach does not have many services, but it is also what makes it beautiful. There are no restaurants, showers or hammocks, but it does have spectacular views.
You will know that Nerja is a very well known town on the Costa del Sol thanks in large part to the popularity of the Verano Azul series filmed here. The blue of the sea bathing the coasts of the town is a real wonder.
The beach has parking and is a guarded area during the summer season. El Chorrillo beach does not have the Blue Flag badge, but if you decide to visit this beach in Nerja you will be delighted.
