Carabeo beach

Another of Nerja's beautiful beaches. Carabeo beach is located between Calahonda and Carabeillo Chico beaches.

Access is only possible by going down a few steps on Carabeo street, known as Mirador del Bendito, or through Burriana beach. Carabeo beach is small and quite busy during the summer season, although to a lesser extent than the neighbouring beaches. It is a few minutes walk from the Balcon de Europa, so well known in Nerja.

Do you like to watch the sunset? At the end of the afternoon we recommend that you sit down on one of the benches at the Bendito viewpoint to enjoy it. Take a good walk and you will have a panoramic view of the whole Nerja coastline.

Carabeo beach is surrounded by huge rocks that give this space intimacy and a natural and wild character. It is 120 metres long.

In this small Carabeo beach you won't find many services, just toilets and showers, but that's the charm of this place. Do you like snorkelling or diving? This space is perfect thanks to its clean waters. If you also want to get to know Nerja from Carabeo beach you will be close to the old town. Nerja has many places worth visiting.

During the low season, Carabeo beach belongs almost exclusively to the people of Nerja.
