I’m sure you’re familiar with this name and it’s one of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol. Artola has an area of 1,200 meters located in the Artola Dunes, a valuable natural protected area in the heart of the famous Costa del Sol.
In 2001 the Andalusian Government declared the Artola Dunes a Natural Monument.
A beach that is very close to the Cabopino Marina, here you can also find some stretches of nudist beach.
The degree of occupation of this beach in Marbella is medium and can be described as a nudist beach.
The services of Artola beach are good, it has a bus stop and a large parking lot.
If you feel like going for a walk, you can also find places of historical interest in the area, such as Torre Ladrones, a tower that served as a defence, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest.
With moderate waves and a semi-urban character it is an area where you can rent hammocks and have a drink in one of its several chiringuitos and restaurants.
The entrance to Artola Beach is located near the port of Cabopino and is bounded by two breakwaters.
This beach has good access for people with reduced mobility.
